Very grateful we made the extra effort to figure this one out. There are three doors in the "lobby", take the one in the middle. The Napoleonic museum(also free, surprisingly good!) is on the frontage road, this museum is around the side. Not so! Go one Bridge up (North) from the bridge to Castello d'Angelo, it's on the city side, on the east side of the Tiber. It can be a little confusing to figure out, we had somebody tell us that the museum is closed with no opening hours. Set in a prime location of Rome, Fiume Hotel puts everything the city has to. The Palazzo Altemps, which is a branch of Rome's Museo Nazionale Romano, has sculptures and other ancient art installed in the frescoed rooms of a 16th-century palace ![]() The entrance to the palace is apparently very similar to other large Roman palaces.
